In two clicks to the availability notification

Gestellpool Europe has launched its free availability notification app “Gestellpool Scanner” with a major relaunch. The update primarily consists of technical improvements and a new intuitive design to make digital rack availability notifications even easier from now on.

In 2014, Gestellpool Europe released its first availability notification app to accelerate the rack circulation process. Eight years later, one-third of the 16,000 availability notifications per month are exclusively done through smartphones – and the trend is increasing. This is reason enough for a major update that enables the availability notification in just two clicks. All the customer needs to do is download the app, scan a code on the rack using the camera, and confirm the automatically captured location. The rack is then available for pick-up, as it has been released via the smartphone.

The new version also lays the foundation for future expansions. “Our availability notification app is a success story, and we are continuing to write it with this update. The improvements come directly from the market. The new version provides us with the opportunity to implement input from our partners digitally, without detours, and make the availability notification process even more efficient,” says Managing Director Sebastian Block.

The app is now available for free in the App Store and Google Play Store. Gestellpool Europe fills an important gap in the processes of many companies in the construction industry. Often, it takes far too long for empty racks to find their way back to their owners, if they return at all – around 12,000 racks are lost annually.

Through smart solutions, Gestellpool simplifies the availability notification process and takes over the entire rack management process for its partners. The “Gestellpool Scanner” availability notification app plays an important role in this, as it allows customers to release racks in seconds with minimal effort amidst the busy construction site routine.
