Hanover – As a leading provider of efficient rack management solutions, Gestellpool Europe is opening up its system to a new target group: In the future, the service will also be aimed at system providers – such as manufacturers of window profile systems or facade technology – as well as their suppliers and any other companies that work with steel long goods pallets. This new target group will gain access to solutions that are already setting standards in the glass and window industry.
Gestellpool currently manages around 182,000 racks for members and customers and processes over 19,000 availability notifications per month – more than 85% of which are already automated. The challenges associated with returns and coordination are similar across industries – particularly when it comes to long goods pallets. This is precisely where Gestellpool comes in.
Gestellpool Europe provides digital services for rack management – from planning and control to seamless tracking. Personal support, digital traceability and flexible usage options mean Gestellpool is already the first choice for many companies in the window and glass industry – and now system providers and all companies that use long goods pallets as load carriers are set to follow suit.
Long goods pallets present their own particular challenges: they often remain with the customer for long periods of time and are sometimes used for storage purposes. Consequently, returns are delayed and companies suffer from a lack of resources, making transparent returns processes all the more valuable.
“As a partner to our members, we develop solutions before they become standard”, says Managing Director Felix Spangenberg.
Gestellpool creates clarity and space for manoeuvre: all long goods pallet users that become members will get a system that offers transparent return processes and a rental structure that can be adapted to individual requirements.
“By opening up our system to a new target group, we are closing a gap in the market and making rack management even more efficient – including for long goods pallets”, explains Spangenberg.
This offer is aimed at companies that would like to become members of Gestellpool. Interested parties can contact us at any time for non-binding, tailored advic.
