Gestellpool Europe has published a new version of the driver app with new functions for everyday operations

Hanover – Gestellpool Europe has extensively overhauled its app for drivers and pickers GESAdrive. The new version 2.0 is available now in the Google Play Store. It combines a modern redesign with extended functions for the digital management and recording of frames.

The further development is centred around real life requirements. The aim was to make workflows easier, faster and more transparent for drivers and pickers.

“With GESAdrive 2.0, we have consistently further developed the app from the user’s perspective. Feedback from daily use was the basis for us to improve the app operation and functions in a targeted manner,” says Felix Spangenberg, Managing Director of Gestellpool Europe.

Expanded frame management directly in the app

When new frames are created, you can record additional master data directly on site, such as the year of construction, material, colour, whether the frame is stackable, and whether the frame can be used with a crane. Existing frame data can be viewed and edited directly in the app when you scan the frame number – provided the permission has been granted.

There is also a new card function for drivers. It shows whether a frame has already been selected and scheduled by another driver for short-notice collection. This allows for easier coordination within a factory and doubled-up journeys can be avoided.

State-of-the-art user interface and automatic language selection

In addition to the expanded scope of functions, the user interface was also completely revised. The app is now clearer and better oriented towards actual work processes in everyday business.

In addition, GESAdrive 2.0 now also takes on the language settings from the operating system automatically. German, Danish and English are supported.

The requirements for using GESAdrive 2.0 are Android 8 or higher, activated Bluetooth and the permission “Find nearby devices”.
